Pool Cage Cleaning in St. Petersburg, FL
A screened lanai should be cleaned for its delicate mesh and coated framing, not treated like a concrete driveway. We plan the soft wash around screen condition, pool water, planting and the deck beneath the enclosure.
Pool cage cleaning in St. Petersburg uses a low-pressure soft wash to address mildew, pollen and black algae on screen enclosures and aluminum frames. Screens, finishes, lanai decks, nearby plants and pool water are assessed before treatment. Perfection Pressure Washing serves homes across Pinellas County. Call 727-215-5743 for a free quote.
Screened outdoor spaces beside the bay and under trees
Bay humidity on frames
Around Snell Isle and Shore Acres, damp outdoor conditions can support mildew and dark organic buildup on enclosure beams. Low-pressure treatment addresses the growth without using driveway pressure on the framing.
Pollen on shaded screens
Tree-lined yards in Historic Old Northeast and Historic Kenwood can leave pollen on screen mesh and ledges. We inspect the mesh and attachment points before cleaning around delicate or weathered areas.
Lanai floors and pool edges
Deck coatings, pool equipment and nearby plants are part of the plan. We discuss deck cleaning separately so the method suits the floor as well as the enclosure above it.
Soft washing planned around screens and the pool
Low-pressure application treats organic growth on aluminum framing and screen mesh without blasting the enclosure. We inspect torn, loose or brittle screens first; cleaning is not screen repair, and existing damage needs to be addressed separately.
Protecting pool water and plants is part of the preparation and rinsing plan. We manage application and runoff with the pool edge, equipment and landscaping in mind rather than claiming every product is harmless in every setting.
Our pool cage cleaning process
- Inspect mesh, aluminum finishes, kick panels, buildup and access.
- Plan protection for pool water, equipment and surrounding plants.
- Apply a suitable soft-wash treatment at low pressure to the enclosure.
- Rinse with attention to screen condition, nearby surfaces and runoff.
- Clean the deck with a material-appropriate method when included in the scope.
- Review the result and point out existing screen or coating damage.

St. Petersburg pool cage cleaning questions
How do you clean a pool cage without tearing screens?
We inspect screen condition and use low-pressure soft washing instead of high-pressure blasting. Loose, torn or brittle mesh may need repair before cleaning; no method can restore damaged screens.
Can you remove black algae and mildew from aluminum frames?
Soft washing addresses appropriate organic buildup on the framing. Oxidation, corrosion and failing paint are different from surface growth and may remain after cleaning.
How are pool water and nearby plants protected?
We plan application, runoff and rinsing around the pool, equipment and planting. Let us know about sensitive plants or pool-area concerns during the assessment.
Can the lanai deck be cleaned with the enclosure?
Yes, discuss the deck as part of the visit. Its coating, material, drainage and condition determine the cleaning approach, which may differ from the screens and frames.
What affects a St. Petersburg pool cage cleaning quote?
Enclosure size, height, screen condition, buildup, access, surrounding planting and any included deck work affect the scope. We review these details and provide a free quote.
